The tour underground Cagliari is an unusual and exclusive experience: hidden under the layers of the modern town there's a whole world made of caves, crypts, and galleries. With a walk between the historic districts of Stampace and Marina, we will see the Tunnel–Shelter of the Salesian School, a long private gallery used during World War II as a shelter for the school' students from the bombings. Today the gallery almost looks like a mystic place with its red-bricked arcades, enlightened by soft candlelights. We will continue the tour to explore the magnificent crypt of Saint Restituta, with its fascinating stories, and we will finish with a visit to the Archeological Area of Saint Eulalia to discover its amazing underground ruins. The tour involves a small amount of walking outside. Accordingly, to opening times of the sites, there might be alternative underground sites to visit.

Francesca war ein sehr guter Guide. Sie hat viel erklärt und das auch noch bilingual transportiert. Die Tour war gut, aber 25,-€ halte ich für nicht angemessen, für das was man zu sehen bekommt. Zusätzlich zahlt man dann noch 5€, um 2 Krypten zu sehen, sonst wäre der erste Teil für 25€ wahrscheinlich in 1 h abgefertigt. Mein Fazit: Die Tour kann man, muss man aber nicht mitnehmen.

Duidelijk engels sprekende gids. Vrij prijzig voor wat er te zien is. Wel leuk om wat over de historie van Cagliari te weten te komen.
