    The first stop of the tour will be at a secret place called Lagoa das Patas. In this place it is possible to visit the stream that originates from Serra de Sta Bárbara, visit the Lagoon and interact with animals such as ducks and some birds. It is a leisure area full of life and nature!

    Furnas do Enxofre is made up of an area that comprises several outlets of aggressive volcanic gases at different temperatures, some quite high. It has a small pedestrian trail that allows you to observe the sulfur smoke up close.

    The visit to the famous cave of Algar do Carvão. Here we can visit the interior of a volcano, a rare phenomenon in the history of volcanoes worldwide. We see heaven from the inside of the earth!

Amélia is a sensational guide and provided an amazing, lively, full of information tour. The tour offers a quite varied view of Terceira’s geography, and the weather even made us experience the four seasons of the year in one afternoon. A great way to explore the nature of the island in its most peculiar aspects.
