My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Rene. He was so interesting and shared insights that were truly unique. The time passed so quickly, yet he never rushed us or hurried us along. A wonderful and memorable day.

Our tour guide today was Roni who did a fabulous job from beginning to end. After all 7 of us were introduced and comfortably seated in his big red van, Roni gave us a run down of the places we would visit throughout the day. We started with a visit to some local fisherman who were packing their morning catch into a cooler filled with ice. Roni was hoping that we might catch some dolphins moving about in the water just past the fisherman but there were none to be seen here. We stopped for a view of where one of Tahiti's many river meets the ocean. Here we saw at least a dozen fresh water eels swimming about as they feasted on some bread that Roni brought to feed them while he explained all about them. Next we visited a local Tahitian temple and Roni explained all about this sacred place. His knowledge of ancient Tahitian customs, as well as the geography of Tahiti is vast. We continued on to a water garden with a lesson about some of Tahiti's flora and, after a stop at a black sand beach, we moved on to Tahiti Iti, all the way to Teahapoo, place of the 2024 summer Olympics for surfing. We had lunch at a local restaurant on our way back to big Tahiti. After a visit and tour of the cosmetic factory, we stopped at a local fresh spring and cave. The day was filled with lots of history about local culture. Roni is extremely knowledgeable and had a very easy way of telling stories and answering questions. We had a great day. I would highly recommend this tour.

We did the West Coast tour with Tracy. It was a fun afternoon of seeing the sites and hearing stories. Tracy is fun of excitement and makes the day really fun. She shares her knowledge of the island, people and their customs.
