Go on a horseback riding adventure with some real cowboys!! You'll go back in time to the 1800s on this trail ride that takes you into incredible hills and cactus filled deserts. Then have an amazing time with the western activities....learn how to shoot an arrow.... throw an axe... and try your hand at roping a steel calf. It's all in a day's work on the ranch! The lunch includes a hamburger, hot dog or grilled chicken, beans, corn on the cob, chips, dessert and unlimited soft drinks. NOTE: There are two outfitter locations mentioned in the listing. We go to ONE of those, depending on availability and season. Please note that during the hot summer months, this tour may be slightly different than described above.

Smart and striking conversion of a Victorian chapel. Lots of mod cons (induction hob, digital heating, vast TVs), clean and with some lovely touches - the games cabinet was a big hit. Situated in the centre of this small but well equipped dales town it was an excellent base for family reunion, having the space and equipment to cater for all. The main quibble was noise - the chapel has been divided into two, so effectively the property is a semi-detached house. While an effort has been made with sound proofing, if next door decide to have a late one (as ours did) you can hear the whoops and hollers. The saving grace was the bedrooms are set away from the dividing wall, so sleep was possible. Also the internal layout - a mezzanine living room with an open walkway, may give parents of younger kids cause for concern and it also meant the two whopping TVs (one up and one down) could not be watched without one disturbing the other.

We came expecting a nice experience. We ended up with a wonderful Fortnite. The breakfast where superb and the dinners were outstanding. Lovely setting. The breakfast staff were very welcoming and warm in emotional. When we left, that says a lot.

Eddie was so informative picked us up from our hotel & had lunch with us. The drive was very scenic and the ranch and trail breathtaking & peaceful .... LOVED IT ????
