This Alcatraz package includes admission to the Alcatraz Island and prison Cellhouse, round-trip ferry rides to the Island, and the 45-minutes award-winning audio tour. It also includes a Hop on Hop off open top bus tour for the ultimate San Francisco experience. The Alcatraz tour ticket is very popular and it is recommended that you book in advance online to secure your Alcatraz tour spot. You can stay on Alcatraz Island as long as you like, but allow at least 3 hours for cruising to the Island, taking the Cellhouse audio tour, exploring the rest of the Island and its historic exhibits and returning via ferry to Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing.     Be aware that there are masses of flies on the ferry ride over...at least on the ferry we took. We tried sitting outside but that didn't help much but it was better. Alcatraz was a great experience though!

    Perfect tour for a short visit. We got to see so much in one day. My kids liked the bus tour and we took the morning ride to Alcatraz so we had the whole day ahead of us.
