Seamless experience. Consistent contact in the weeks leading up to the tour. All questions were answered, even my inquiries about heights and curvy roads (neither of which were problems; I asked because we had driven through the Tetons months before), and the replies didn't make me feel like I was being ridiculous. I appreciated that. It's a long day, but very worth it. Picked us up at the hotel as specified and took us to get lunch supplies at a nearby grocery store in Fairbanks. We also enjoyed getting to know the other 4 people on the tour (a couple and 2 friends). The weather was quite warm. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. (I forgot his name, but he was former military and had lived in so many places). I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. The road is quite bumpy, and rental car companies do not typically permit their vehicles to travel this route. You need someone who is familiar with the road and is prepared for busted windshields and tires. We stopped to check on another tour operator who had just experienced a broken rear window on his van (the situation was being resolved--no worries). Our tour concluded with the tragic news of the Uvalde, TX school shooting, as our cell phones had been out of range all day.
