Overlooking the Alaska Mountain Range and can see great view from top of the ridge. Amazing view of the dark night sky within only a 40 minutes drive from Fairbanks. Unlimited hot cocoa, coffee, tea, and snacks in the warm cozy rustic Alaskan cabin Also, for an extra fee, We can take pictures of you with the aurora for an additional fee. Aurora is a natural phenomenon and cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see the aurora borealis, as Weather conditions are constantly changing and other conditions may also change. We would not cancel due to lack of lights or cloudy skies. Even if it snows a little, the tour will not be cancelled because the weather may change. Dangerous weather conditions (heavy snow, rain, icy roads) and emergencies may result in cancellations. Because of the natural things involved we have a NO REFUND policy. The same cancellation policy applies to cancellations due to flight or train delays.

We do not provide transportation to hotels or locations that are not listed.
Please note that pickup and drop off service is available only for major hotels within downtown Fairbanks, as listed.
You will need to make your own way to the hotels on the list.

Pick up time will vary between about 9:15pm-10:00pm based on hotel location.
We will send you the pick-up time via text message around 4:00 pm on the day of the tour.

  • Pickup services are available only for major hotels within Fairbanks city. Please note that we are unable to provide pickup services from Airbnb or similar accommodations.
  • There are about 10 gradual steps to the entrance.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

I didn’t expect to see the northern lights because it was very cloud. I got to see it at 1:00 am. It was -5 degree. It would be nice to sit in a glass tent to view it instead of running in and out of the house every 15 minutes. You could only stay for about one minutes outside because it was so cold. Still, I am glad I got to see it.

The owner had so much information to share! Very educational. Perfect set up for what we were looking for...nice cabin to stay warm in while we waited for the lights. Comfortable and relaxing. Would do it again!

The host Mici is great. The lodge is comfortable and has a great view of the northern lights. Highly recommend
