General Admission tickets purchased through Viator and Trip Advisor provide a tour that begins with an introduction from a trained interpreter then allows you to explore the mansion at your own pace. Walk through the meticulously restored rooms of this Italian Villa style home, complete with an impressive display of original furnishings, artwork and statuary. Belmont Mansion is a must-see for anyone interested in women's history, Tennessee history, the Civil War, architecture, art and decorative arts. Ring the doorbell and our historical interpreters will welcome you inside to view this elaborately decorated Victorian home. Then, take an optional self-guided tour of the meticulously maintained rose garden and grounds now part of the Belmont University campus, one of the 10 most beautiful urban campuses in the country starting from the front steps of Belmont Mansion.  At the end of your visit, make your way back to downtown Nashville and enjoy the city.

The mansion is absolutely gorgeous. It’s filled with beautiful furniture, a rich history, and the architecture is stunning. We fell in love with it and used it for our wedding. The staff is super nice, and it’s just an amazing place to visit and learn about.

Very good experience. We took a tour of the mansion and it has fascinating history. Really gives you a glimpse of antebellum and civil war era south. The style, decorations and artefacts are memorable and quite distinct from grand mansions in other parts of the country. Lots of portraits in the house of the owner/mother of the family. The gardens outside are lovely. It is difficult now to envision the mansion being on the mountain as it is surrounded with Belmont University. The mansion is right in Nashville and easy to access. Need about an hour to visit here.

This place is spectacular. The history is a little sad but a woman making this happen in her time…. Bravo! Ring the doorbell and walk into a beautiful piece of history filled with cool artifacts and priceless art. Our family enjoyed our time here and took some time to walk around the area as well. I would recommend it!
