Belmont Mansion is a must-see for anyone interested in women's history, Tennessee history, the Civil War, architecture, art and decorative arts. Ring the doorbell and our historical interpreters will welcome you inside to view this elaborately decorated Victorian home. Then, take an optional self-guided tour of the meticulously maintained rose garden and grounds now part of the Belmont University campus, one of the 10 most beautiful urban campuses in the country starting from the front steps of Belmont Mansion.  At the end of your visit, make your way back to downtown Nashville and enjoy the city.

Very nice old home with plenty of period related furnishings, clothing, dishware, etc. You hear the history of how it came to be with previous owners from a trained guide. You only need an hour for this.

This was a staycation visit that offered a chance to learn some history of this beautiful mansion in my own city. Our guide was very thorough with great stories and able to answer the various questions posed to her. Belmont Mansion has a rich history that varies from some plantations in the area. A worth-while visit!
