    Join us for a drive through Capitol Reefs back country to a scenic paradise of desert landscapes in our luxury 4X4 vehicle through cathedrals, temples, buttes and hoodoos that will get you away from most all of the park’s visitors. We’ll ford the Fremont River and stop at the Bentonite Hills, walk around, take pictures, talk about the geology and history of the area, stop at viewpoints along the way and enjoy the solitude, visit the iconic Temples of the Sun and Moon, see geological oddities such as Glass Mountain and ancient lava flows. This trip has tons of photographic opportunities and is missed by most visitors to Capitol Reef due to its remote location and often times challenging roads. If you're looking for a Jeep tour of Capitol Reef give us a shot, we don't drive Jeep but have more comfortable luxury vehicle to accommodate larger groups, enjoy the air conditioning on those hot summer days or enclosed SUV with a heater for the chilly days! We do winter tours as well.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

My family had a very pleasant time touring the Cathedral Valley and nearby area with Jason. He can customize the tour to your specific needs and was very good with children. My 8 yr old managed to find some cool rocks thanks to his help. He is knowledgeable about the geology of the area and knows the roads very well. We feel that we were in good hands the whole time. Compared to the lengths of other similar tours in the area, he dedicates more time to his guests and we didn't feel rushed. On top of everything, he is personable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Jason for an off-roading tour around the Capitol Reef area.

We truly appreciated the personalized service and Jason was able to answer all of our questions about the geology and history of the area. He took us to places and showed us things we wouldn't have ever gone or seen on our own and we learned so much in the process. It was a great tour and we really enjoyed it.
