This is a small group rafting and scenic driving tour through the famous Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve with a scenic float trip (no whitewater) through the home of the largest bald eagle congregation in the world. Thousands of bald eagles travel here to feed on salmon in the fall and winter. In spring and summer watch for eagles nesting and raising their young.

Such an amazing experience. Too many eagles to count...flying overhead, landing in trees, on rocks next to us. Salmon jumping out of the river so close I felt like I could catch one with my bare hands. 360 degrees of magnificent views the whole time. Picnic lunch on shore at the end. Favorite excursion from our ship. Experience of a lifetime! The guide was fantastic! So much history and culture shared.

Our guide was knowledgeable at reading the river, spotting eagles and introducing us to the rhythms of nature along the river. We were comfortable and engaged, and felt very in-tune with nature as we took in the beautiful scenery and majestic eagles.

These folks are passionate about their corner of our world, and their passion is contagious. From beginning to end, they take great care of their guests. Crew is fun, kind and extremely knowledgeable! Beautiful place, beautiful experience beautifully shared. Joe was a blast!
