I booked this excursion hoping to see a bear while we were in Alaska. We didn’t see a bear and the other aspects of the tour were disappointing. Of course nature in Alaska is beautiful but nothing on this tour was outstanding. If you only have one day in Skagway, you could do something better.

We had an unforgettable early morning tour with Dale Cunning. His knowledge of the natural and human history was captivating and the photo's we acquired will bring these wonderful memories back every time. The locations we visited were easily accessed for variable views. Dale's photography skills came into play for us all, along with his humor. I have already made several recommendations to friends and family about this Haines tour with Dale's guidance.

Jen took very good care of us with many stories of the area. The ferry ride was very scenic. Since it was late in the season we didn't see any bears but many many eagle sightings and beautiful scenery.
