Take home awe-inspiring photographs of Alaska! With a maximum of 4 participants per tour, you will receive a personalized photography experience featuring panoramic landscapes, majestic mountains, and reflection ponds. Our photo guides are expert photographers and light-wranglers; they will be your location scout, driver, and instructor – seeking out the best locations and the most dramatic lighting in real time. Guides provide individualized instruction so you can hone your skills as you capture beautiful images that will last a lifetime. This guided excursion offers one-on-one attention and allows you to feel like you have the locations all to yourself for a truly immersive experience.

  • Professional tripods and filters are provided. Digital cameras with long zoom lens are available to rent, and guests keep the memory card.

Transportation is provided to and from all Denali area hotels. Tours begin upon pick up; there is no shuttling and no caravanning. Tours travel to multiple locations in a luxury truck that is easy to get in and out of.

  • Participants must be able to get in and out of the truck. Wheelchairs and other mobility devices may be stored in the truck.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

My experience never happened. They got my time mixed up and no one was available to take me out. They offered a different time but we had other plans.

The photo excursion with Todd was amazing! He is knowledgable, patient and fun. He knew exactly where to go to find interesting things to shoot. He provided a lot of insider information on what to do/see and how to get around. All of us on his tour were commenting that we learned so much and will be passing his name along to friends that are planning trips for 2023. Just a great guy with a lot of great tips. Look forward to another session next year!

Fantastic guide, Ted, that helped with taking MUCH better pictures with whatever camera you have. Very small group, there were only 4 of us. Great one-on-one attention and direction. Very knowledgeable about photography. I’ve been photographing animals and landscapes for several years and walked away from this feeling like I learned a lot and found a new excitement about photography. Highly recommend this no matter what level of experience you have. One of the customers was a beginner to photography and he finished the tour feeling a lot more confident of his skills. Definitely worth doing.
