The historic and scenic Bradshaw Mountains are one of the richest gold-filled mountain ranges in the entire country, creating the perfect setting for our Gold Rush Hiking and Gold Panning Tour. Our tours create a scenic and educational journey amidst some of the most rugged landscapes Arizona has to offer, with opportunities to see giant saguaro cacti and abundant desert wildlife. You will be accompanied by a guide with vast knowledge of the local mining history and plant and animal life. The tour will begin with a scenic, moderately difficult hike from our property down to the Agua Fria River. The hike offers incredible views and plenty of opportunities for photos. Once at the river, we will spend some time panning for gold and learning about the history of gold mining here in the Bradshaw Mountains. You are welcome to keep your findings! We will then finish the tour out by making the hike back up the Agua Fria River canyon.

We had Matt and Dylan for out guide for gold panning. Panning was not so great… but Matt and Dylan made up for it with great personality and knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thanks Matt and Dylan!!

My family and I had a great time on our gold panning tour with Matt. Unfortunately we didn't return millionaires but the wealth of knowledge shared by our guide more than made up for it. The information and passion that Matt had to share of the beautiful landscape we were immersed in is an experience I will always appreciate. I recommend for all!

I was a bit disappointed with this experience. Riley was our tour guide and it was just myself and my friend whom booked this experience. Upon arrival we headed down the trail to the river spot where we were going to do the mining. Please bring water shoes as they will come in handy and wear shorts or pants that can easily be pulled up. We didn’t venture out to dig it was all within the same spot and to be honest there wasn’t much of anything. We didn’t find but one or 2 flakes of gold more like specs but you do find cool rocks. At the end Riley will put all your finding in a bottle for you but to be honest I would recommend you do this step yourself to avoid losing your findings. Bring a magnet, it should help sort.
