Historic Tour of Jerome

It was very interesting and scenic. Very awesome My great grandson and I enjoyed it very much. A real treat

We enjoyed Jason, our tour guide.He was very helpful getting in and out of the van. He is very knowledgeable and continues to gather information from long time locals on the town. While the mine industry was very interesting history, the layout of the town and that history was great as well. The piece of history astounded me the most was the Medodist minister who told a Mexican man he could not worship in his church because the Mexicans were Catholics and had to go there. He said he wasn't Catholic but that didn't make a difference. Therefore, the Mexican gentleman build his own beautiful spired home where he worshiped.

This was a drive around in a crappy van hearing about the guides friends around cottonwood, clarksdale and Jerome. Was told we get a discount for lunch which we didn't get. 90 mins was just enough to eat and maybe 2 stores before meeting back at van. When I booked this it said it was a minivan in the description however when arriving at pick up location this was a full size van that held 8+ people and was old and run down. I only booked this for our party if 5 because it said it was a mini van and we had 3 70+ year olds with us. They had hard time getting in and out of van on a plastic step that most of time was on gravel. The seats wore horrible and ripped. There was some tools in the back that kept clinking around and making loud noises. The seatbelts had no tension and anyone sat on the back 3 rows had to climb over and under seatbelts to get in and out of van.
