The Melting Point is a new, state-of-the-art facility featuring a fine art gallery, a lamp working studio and fully equipped hotshop. We eat, sleep, and breath glass, and it's our delight to share this passion with the community. Our staff is as diverse as the beautiful Sedona desert landscape. Coming from a broad range of educational backgrounds, our glassblowers can tell you everything you would ever want to know about the science and art of glass.

    My husband and I had a fantastic experience at The Melting Point. We each made our own pieces—he crafted a bowl and I made a vase—and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Our instructor, Greg, was excellent. He was personable, patient, and clearly very talented. He guided us through each step, offering suggestions on color and design without ever being pushy. His calm, encouraging style made the whole process fun and approachable, even though we were complete beginners. The studio is well-run and welcoming, and the experience itself was both creative and hands-on in the best way. Highly recommend this activity if you're in Sedona and looking for something unique to do—you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece and a great memory.
