We enjoyed ourselves using the self guided audio tour. There was some interesting and informative stuff. I thought it was especially cool to see the transported famous recording studio and following the timeline. Downstairs is very interactive, allowing to play, experiment, and create music. I definitely would have gone through the upstairs faster to have more time and energy for the last/interactive.
Please note, we were here in September so it was not crowded. The place, especially the interactive is probably less fun when it's busier.

I’m a mom from Boston visiting her soldier son from Ft. Campbell. We really enjoyed the museum and especially the interactive experience at the end with the instruments. So much fun!

Great museum. My wife an I really enjoyed the 3 hours we spent exploring the museum, even though neither of us are musicians. Displays were well laid out and descriptions were well written. We thoroughly enjoyed all the back stories of how artists and music came about and advanced. Most individual videos had a domed speaker you could stand under to hear only that sound. Highly recommend.
