This tour is designed to focus on the White-bellied Snipe, a mythical bird of the Patagonian-Fueguinian Andes that inhabits the high Andean valleys from September to April. Ushuaia is one of the best places and opportunities to observe this bird. Our staff has specialized for many years in recording and studying bird movements in its habitat.

Marcello was a great guide, with great field experience. Wandering in snowshoes (provided) above the Gartibaldi pass in the snow and the fog above tree level to find a pair of tiny camouflaged birds looked quite an impossible task... but after a few hours Marcelo found them and we got all amazing views! And pics!
