    Next you will be transferred to Agra Fort, also a UNESCO Heritage Site, built from red sandstone by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. The maze of the courtyards, mosques and private chambers of the fort echoes the story of the Mughal Empire.

    After Lunch, at 2:30pm continue your tour to Fatehpur Sikri, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is an hour away from Agra. It has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town”. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years.

We had a very good experience with this tour visiting Agra. The tour start very early in the morning but 5am is definitly the best time to visit the Taj Mahal. Manish was an excellent guide knowing a lot about history and the city, his french was more than correct and he was very helpfull all the day.
