Great tea factory tour. Siva was very knowledgeable. I learnt a lot about the different black, green and white tea processing and different qualities. I know know which to buy!

The tea factory was tour was amazing. The gentleman gave an excellent tour of the factory explaining each and everything in detail. Haven't seen a better tour. Took me through the entire factory when how the leaf reaches it, to how it is packed and every step in between. Switched machines on to show how each machine works and its importance. Damro gives a 5 min tour and focuses on selling their products, Uva focuses on telling the story. I also took the tea plantation tour, where another gentleman (Saleh) explained each and every step of how it is picked and had a short experience with one of the pickers as well. Products are priced okish but the experience was definitely worth it. Way better than Damro in Nuwara Eliya

Ich sehe Tee jetzt definitiv mit anderen Augen, denn mir war bis vor der Tour überhaupt nicht bewusst, wie genau dieser produziert wird. Unser Guide war sehr freundlich, total motiviert und konnte den Prozess der Teeproduktion genau erklären. Nach der Tour gibt es eine Teeverkostung und die Möglichkeit, den favorisierten Tee (und natürlich auch andere Sorten) zu kaufen.
