This tour combines an adventurous and scenic mountain hike followed by the relaxation of the natural thermal springs. This is a sensational way to escape the city and experience the natural beauty of the Valencian region. The 9 km circular trail follows an impressive canyon. Pass through pine forests and gorges and be amazed by the huge vertical cliffs. It takes around 3 hrs 15 mins at a relaxed pace with stops. Alternatively, a shorter and easier hike of 6 km (2 hrs) can be chosen. From June to September only the shorter hike is possible. The thermal springs of Montanejos maintain a constant temperature of 25 °C/77 °F. Take a dip and swim in the crystal blue water which have medicinal properties. You also visit the horizontal water jet created from a dam and the reservoir. You can choose to have lunch in a village restaurant or bring your own lunch to have at the springs. In July and August a swim under a waterfall can be chosen instead of the shorter hike.

We went to Valencia with our team of 22 people for our annual teambuilding retreat. Our very friendly and native English speaking guide Kevin took us along for a nice mountain hike which was doable for everyone in the team (sporty and not so sporty people). After that we enjoyed a very tasty and extensive lunch in the village on a terrace with beautiful views. In the afternoon we visited the impressive water dam jet and we got the chance to cool down in the absolutely amazing thermal springs. Our guide was kind enough to take a lot of pictures and even provided swimming shoes for everyone! We were very impressed by the perfect organization from beginning to end (bustransfer, lunch, beforehand communication, ..., everything went smooth). We had a great day and a great experience that we will never forget. We can definitely recommend Different Valencia tours for anyone who wants to see more of what Valencia has to offer!

Kevin couldn't have been a better tour guide, myself and 4 lads enjoyed a long hike, a swim with a cliff jump in the thermal springs and visited the water jet. We all had an amazing day and would highly recommend. The best day of our holiday by far!

Kevin is an excellent host. We had done almost a week in Valencia and were looking for something a bit different away from the city. A day out at the thermal springs proved to be an excellent choice. Kevin chose a path to the spring that was suitable for both my wife and I and we enjoyed the trails and gushing water views at the damn. The spring itself is a cooler than I expected, cool but not cold, and is very enjoyable and scenic for anyone who enjoys swimming.Lunch was just wonderful at a local restaurant that Kevin reserved for us so just a really nice relaxed day. Kevin is a very chill guide who is seems to enjoy showing the sights to his clients. You never feel rushed and he let’s you dictate the pace of the day. All in all, it was about 9 hours door to door and a nice change up from the city. I would strongly recommend Kevin as a good choice for a day tour away from the city.
