Another of the Cathedral's jewels are the Renaissance frescoes on the High Altar of the Valencia Cathedral, which were rediscovered ten years ago when the baroque vault that covered them was removed.

If you only have a short time in Valencia, as we did, this fascinating tour will give you a real insight into the city. Ferran was a great guide with a lot of information to share. I think the tour would only be improved by using "whispers", the earbuds that allow you to hear everything your guide says. We absolutely loved everywhere we visited but the church of St Nicholas was amazing!
