A full day out in a small group tour! Departing from central Valencia in a comfortable car, enjoy the countryside in our way the Utiel-Requena wine producting area. Valeria or Paulius, your wine experts will show you all the insights of the wineland. In Requena old city you will visit a medieval, quaint, underground winery and learn the traditional way of making wine. You will be introduced to the Bobal, the local red variety, among others, in the wine tasting with a suprise pairing. Your guide will take you around the narrow streets of Requena, and tell you the history of this remarkable town and its golden, silk-producing past. The tour will continue with a visit to a family-owned estate where you will enjoy their hospitality, visit their vineyards, winery and of course taste their best wines and have a bite of some local charcuterie. We will finish our tour with a traditional menu at a local family-run restaurant. Then just relax, admire the landscape on our way back to Valencia.

Valerie set up an amazing self guided wine tour in English and a delicious lunch at a restaurant that was way off the beaten path! She was there with other quests but came and made sure we ordered all the right foods! We would highly recommend her to anyone!!

My husband, two friends and I had the total pleasure of taking this day long tour with Paul. There are not enough words to describe how we all felt about this wonderful tour. Paul’s knowledge not only of the wine industry, but of the local history and culture is amazing. His very pleasant personality was a bonus. He went above and beyond to make our time a delightful experience. My husband and I have been on several day long wine tours but yesterday exceeds them all. Thanks to Paul for making our memories of Valencia even more than expected.
