Nefi war unser erster Kontakt in Mexico als er uns am Flughafen in Cancun abgeholt hat. Puenktlich, mit schoenem, sauberen Van und einem Laecheln im Gesicht. :) Von dort ging es direkt nach Valladolid. Die Fahrt war angenehm und sehr unterhaltsam. Am naechsten Morgen brachte uns Nefi nach Chichen Itza. Seine Tour und sein Wissen ueber die Geschichte Mexico's und die Kultur der Mayas war beeindruckend und keine Frage blieb unbeantwortet. Danach brachte er uns tief in den Dschungel zu einer Familie, die uns dort ein sehr leckeres, typisches Mittagessen servierte. Dort lernten wir auch noch viel ueber die Mileponas, die stachellosen einheimischen Bienen, die medizinischen Honig produzieren. Dann kam die Ueberraschung fuer meine Kinder, die ich vorab mit Nefi vereinbart hatte, naemlich eine Cenote, wo man von seeeehr hoch ins Wasser springen kann. Auch ein Geheimtipp von Nefi, da es eine unbekannte Cenote ist. Es war nur noch eine weitere einheimische Familie dort. Zwei Tage spaeter holte uns Nefi zuverlaessig wie immer in Valladolid ab und brachte uns nach Playa del Carmen, nicht ohne uns unterwegs noch eine seiner Lieblings-Cenoten zu zeigen. Alles in allem koennen wir Nefi rundum empfehlen. Die Liebe zu seinem Land und seinen Mitmenschen kann man mit jedem Wort fuehlen und beim naechsten Besuch in Mexico werden wir ganz sicher wieder Nefi als unseren Tourguide beauftragen!
