  • Parque Natural Ria Lagartos, Rio Lagartos, Yucatan, Mexico
    Guided boattour for about 2 hours in this Unesco natural park. Boatrental, entrance to the park and English/Spanish speaking guide are included. You´ll see birds, different types of mangroves, most probably crocodiles. As for the Flamingos: this park is where their nesting aerea is (we´re not allowed to go to the nests), so you´ll definitely see them the whole year round. How many? There are days we see only ten or a hundred, but you´ll never see a thousand ;-).

  • Ek Balam, Ek Balam Village, Yucatan, Mexico
    English/Spanish guided tour in this must see site. Only about 20 years ago archaeologists discovered here the facade of a Maya mausoleum that is 85% intact like it was in the year 800 AD. If you´re not interested in Ek Balam you can visit the local cenote Xcanche (entrances not included: Ek Balam 494 mxn pp foreigners, Xcanché cenote 170 mxn pp).

We did two tours with Mexico, the Go Flamingo and Go Wonders. Both were great, Go Flamingo was a lot of fun and different; Go Wonders was what one expects when visiting Maya ruins, but Gilberto made the experience extremely interesting, because he is super passionate and knowledgeable. Both guides, Gilberto and Jose', were incredible in offering us the best Yucatan's experience. They pick us up at the hotel on time, the paste of the tour was great, not too overwhelming, but with enough time to see things and wonder around by yourself.

Der Ausflug hat sehr viel Spass gemacht und war sehr spannend. José hat uns viel über die Mayakultur erzählt, es war wie eine Geschichtsstunde :) Río Lagartos hat uns auch sehr gefallen und das Mittagessen war sehr sehr gut. Alles in allem 5 von 5 Sternen :)

MexiGo tours were amazing! We did three tours with them during our stay in Valladolid - Go Wonders, Go Flamingo and Go Cooking and had an incredible time on each tour! We learnt a lot and had heaps of fun. All our tour guides were so friendly and knowledgeable and the tours were really well organised. The lunches on each of the tours were also very delicious. If you are looking for a tour a company I would 100% recommend MexiGo, their tours were some of the best we’ve been on!
