Discover the Grand Harbour area opposite Valletta known as the Three Cities – Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea, where the Knights of St. John first settled in 1530. Driving past Cospicua we reach Vittoriosa for a guided walking tour through the narrow streets in the shade of historic buildings, including the first auberges of the various langues of the Order. At the Vittoriosa waterfront we take a typical harbour boat (dghajsa) for a tour of the colourful harbour creeks. From the Senglea Garden, situated at the tip of the peninsula, enjoy a stunning 360° view of the Grand Harbour, including the impressive Fort Sant Angelo from where Grand Master La Valette led the defence of the island during the Great Siege of 1565.

They combined the English tour and French tour all together. It was a huge group and it was extremely difficult to stay engaged or interested in any of the material. Neither group was happy at the end. They should really consider splitting out this tour between English and French. I don't remember anything to be honest, and I love history. A pity...

Disappointing. Note the 4 hr tour obviously includes pick up and drop off, which in my case was 55mins there -traffic jam- and 20 mins back. Actual sight seeing was around 2hrs 15 which included standing around waiting for our boat trip. Guide needs to use a microphone so eveyone in a large group can hear.

The tour guide was outstanding she was knowledgeable and informative and interesting. I learned a great deal about Malta and anyone who decides to travel to Malta should take this tour.
