    Nice things awaits us in Zapallar. We will get on a boat if conditions are good, otherwise, we will try a boat in Papudo. After this, we will go to hike a wild, rocky path alongside the ocean spotting variety of flowers and other plants, the powerful nature of ocean itself and possibly even a couple of dolphins in the distance.

Great fun for everyone, no skills needed - who can’t stand on their feet, can go down on their bottom, enjoying the view, the sun, the wind and laughter. The view is spectacular, and the feeling of just being up there is truly something.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Chile ! The penguins were super cute :) Sand boarding was a blast and the empanadas were bomb ! Highly recommend

We got picked up from our hotel around 9:30am then went on to scoop up the other participants. We headed first to a local fish market because sea lions gather there and you can see them up close. That was really neat. Then we headed out of the city thru Viña Del Mar and some other small towns to get to where we hopped onto a Very small fisherman’s boat. I think it sat 8 people including the captain. The sea was not rough on this day but I personally had a rough go of it even though I had taken Dramamine beforehand. Seeing the penguins was really cool and they are super cute. I think it was about a 15-20 motor out to the isLand. On the way back we got surrounded by a gregarious pod of adorable dolphins. We stopped the boat for a few minutes watch them play around. After we got off the boat you take a gorgeous short walk along the coast for 20 min or so which was both beautiful and a nice way to shake off the nausea from the boat. Then we got back in the van and headed toward the lunch spot which was under a pavilion on the beach next to a paragliding school. Just gorgeous. And the food was amazing. If you are offered to order 2 empanadas DO SO! I only ordered one and still regret it! Jimmy also makes the BEST pebre! Also good wine and pisco sour. Was a wonderful lunch. Then we headed to these huge sand dunes and you have the opportunity to surf on what looks like a snowboard on the sand. Jimmy and Mariel were really great at talking you through this somewhat scary process (if you had never snow boarded like me! If you do not have any issues with being seasick I recommend this highly. It was a fun and packed day of adventure.
