Wasim was fantastic as our guide in Varanasi. We started with a walk to the Ganges and boat ride to see sunrise. Next we visited Sarnath just outside Varanasi. In the afternoon Wasim co-ordinated our group to get rickshaws through the streets, stop for Masala tea and then on to the place where cremation ceremony takes place. Finally he had arranged for special rooftop seating for us to view the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony where thousands come to celebrate. We finished the day with a Lassi from the Blue Lassi!
Varanasi is incredible, even if you are not religious and Wasim was knowledgeable and patient. Thank you for sharing your city with us!
