The river itself is extremely important to the Hindu religion, but as a spectacle it is just so. It is the scenes along the riverbank, and the various Ghats which make a boat trip on the Ganges the spectacle that it is. From ritual bathing to nearby cremations the banks are full of interest and colour. To take another boat ride in the evening presents even more spectacular sights along the bank The river ride is slow and peaceful. Certainly worth a visit and a ride on this holy of holy rivers.

I went on the 2-day trip to Varanasi from Bangalore. Varanasi had been on my list of sites for a long time, so I booked this tour. The entire experience was amazing from the driver to the very knowledgeable guide. The team are very attentive and made sure that I was comfortable and safe.
