All visitors must go through a security checkpoint similar to that of an airport. During peak season, security lines can take up to 30 minutes to clear.
To visit the Vatican's attractions, visitors must adhere to a rigorous dress code that requires shoulders and knees to be covered at all times. If you do not comply, you may be denied access.
The Raphael Rooms are only open for the English tour at 8:30 a.m.
St. Peter's Basilica is closed on Easter Sunday and other religious holidays, as well as on December 25 and 31, and every Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The tour will be provided in different parts of the Vatican Museums during these times.
Please note that skip-the-line entrance is included only for the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. For St. Peter's Basilica, you might be asked to wait in a line

No refund will be issued for latecomers
The Vatican can get very crowded all year round. April to June and September to October are high-season months
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

So much information, learning, & beauty on this tour. Our guide Antonio was amazing. It was a lot of walking but completely worth it. Definitely recommend!

We loved our tour guide Silvia! She kept the group together and everyone interested in the history and stories of the past. It was very crowded Saturday afternoon. I would recommend is you can do a weekday.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
