Our experience of truffle hunting in the forest with our guide, Michael, and his dog Ika, was an unforgettable experience! It was just 30 minutes from Verona, but it felt like such an adventure. We learned a lot about the art of truffle hunting, Italy's countryside and lovely cuisine and culture from our knowledgeable guide. Seeing the dog do its magic was so much fun. After frolicking around the forest with the two experts, we were treated to a delicious dinner at a restaurant that served a 3-course meal, all with the very truffles we had just hunted! When I think back on my trip, this experience stands out as such a highlight. If you love cooking, travel, nature, dogs, or even just exploring unique things to do on your trip, this should definitely make it to the top of your itinerary. Thank you, Michael and Ika!

Such a fun experience!! He was so kind and knowledgeable about truffle hunting, the forest, the various plants we’d come across. His truffle dog, Aika was so sweet and he loved finding truffles. The love and connection between the guide and dog was really special. The views on the hike were incredible and food prepared with our freshly caught truffles was equally amazing. I absolutely recommend this unique experience
