The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Venice. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected eateries, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible. Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Our tour started at 11:30, we arrived at 11:23 and our guide still isn’t here. ???????? I hope I get a refund! We love Venice though.

A fantastic way to get a brief intro to the twists and turns - and many bridges - that make up Venice. Each stop seemed a hand picked pairing of food/drink and the culinary history that created them. Anita, our guide was amazing. Her culinary knowledge paired with historical tales made the trip so informative, fun and delicious. She was amazing and made the tour exceptional. The five stops were plenty of food but not too much that you couldn’t enjoy the last stop of gelato!!
