  • Bring your passport or ID card in order to prove your age if you have selected a discounted ticket.
  • Do not bring large bags or luggage. These items are not allowed and there is no place to leave them so you will be denied entry.
  • Acqua Alta (high tide) in Venice can cause delays in entering the Basilica.
  • Sites visited during this tour are subject to occasional closures due to holy observances, high tides, and flooding. If a site closes, your guide will tour the exterior of the site. If time permits, you will be contacted before your tour. For last-minute closures, modifications may be communicated at the tour start time.
  • Basilica is a holy place, both men and women must wear clothing that covers the belly, shoulders and knees.
  • Religious authorities may decide to suspend skip-the-line priority because of the high number of visitors. We are only allowed to stay inside the Basilica for 20 minutes.
  • In case of denied access, you will be provided with entrance tickets to visit the Basilica on your own at the assigned time.
  • If you take the 2:00 PM tour, the Correr Museum will be closed before your tour finishes. Therefore, you will have Correr tickets for the next day
  • Please note that carrying any type of weapon or sharp objects, such as a knife, is not allowed for this tour.
  • On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable, please visit: https://cda.ve.it
  • Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
  • Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes.

  • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

It’s very interesting with amazing guide who brought it to life but it was a bit too long. I would have liked more time in St Mark’s basilica

Be cautious with this tour. Although it’s listed as 3 hours, we spent the entire time in the Doge’s Palace, lingering 20-30 minutes in each room. Our guide provided VERY detailed explanations, which, while informative, caused us to miss St. Mark’s entirely. When we entered the palace, there were no lines or crowds, but by the time we left, we’d seen 15-20 groups pass us, and lines had formed for other rooms. Also, no bathroom break—after 3 hours, I wanted to use the restroom, but there’s only one on the main floor, and the long line meant we couldn’t spare the time. Unfortunately, my wife and I had other plans later, so we missed the St. Mark’s Basilica portion.

This is a nice skip the line tour while in Venice. So much beauty in both of these places and our guide gave us enough time to wander and appreciate the architecture that these two locations are famous for. Wish it was offered in Spanish more.
