The Amarone-Valpolicella tour offers the opportunity to visit vineyards Northwest of Verona in the Classic Valpolicella wine region. The very special nature of the soil and the presence of indigenous grape varieties make Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto among the most revered red wines in the world. The wine tasting includes a light lunch of typical cheese and salami. The day concludes with a walking tour of Verona’s historic gems: Piazza Bra (home of the famous Arena di Verona with its magic performing arts), Castelvecchio Bridge, Juliet's House, Piazza dei Signori and Piazza delle Erbe.

Riccardo was the perfect host and I’d give this trip 10 stars if I could! The day was very well organised and met all of our requirements fully. Riccardo’s knowledge of Verona and surrounding area was impressive as was his knowledge of the Valpollicella wine region. The tours of Verona and of the winery were exquisite! Lots of fun was had too! My wife and I would go on this trip again in a heartbeat. Many thanks Riccardo it was a wonderful day!

Excellent private tour. Our guide Ricardo was delightful and informative and even a sommelier. The Clementi vineyard is truly a gem.

Our guide was excellent - professional and very informative. He told us about the regions of Italy which we were driving through. He guided us around the highlights of Verona again keeping us well informed. And finally, he was very knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting and the foods they would best accompany. We thoroughly enjoyed the day from start to finish.
