The glass making was fascinating. I absolutely loved Burano, such a picturesque place. The people were very friendly. The boat ride was interesting and it was one of those trips where the passengers had fun and got to know each other.

Our original tour time was cancelled and we received no notifications, resulting in an extra hour waiting around. Check with the operator the day before. Once aboard at the new tour time we had a lovely visit to Murano and Burano and would happily do the tour again.

This was the perfect way to see both islands without having to navigate the water buses. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We only saw one glass factory and I would have liked to have seen a bit of the island. The demonstration was great. Travelers should be aware that it is ½ hour to each island and an hour coming back, so plan on 2 hours of travel time.
