Waft by the beautiful sights of Venice on a 30-minute shared gondola ride and enjoy a serenade, too. Select an afternoon or evening trip, be welcomed aboard your five-passenger gondola by a traditionally dressed gondolier, and set off in a group of around eight gondolas, with a singer aboard one of the boats. Admire Palazzo Barberino and other romantic landmarks as your flotilla navigates the Grand Canal and smaller waterways, and soak up the dulcet melodies from the flotilla’s singer along the way!

Skip Viator and take cash to jump into one of the MANY boats along your walk. This tour took us an hour and a half to find because Google/Apple Maps don’t work well in Venice so we were late. Luckily, they were kind enough to let us onto the next one but it meant there were 4 of us instead of the original 2 per boat so we missed the “romantic” element and spent a lot of time trying to find places when we could have just jumped into one waiting.

I looked forward to this experience so much and was very disappointed. It was NOT what was advertised or what I paid for. Finding the meeting point was tough and when we got there the attendant looked at our voucher and sent us away, saying that wasn’t the meeting point. After much walking and searching we realized we were right the first time. Basically there was NO musician serenading us on our boat. There was a singer on a boat nearby that we could barely hear. The ride was a basic loop around the entrance station, Venice is inherently beautiful but don’t recommend rhis tour.

This was supposed to be a 30 minute gondola ride with an opera singer. There was no singer, the ride was right about 15 minutes and they tried to cover the fact that there was no singer by staying near a gondola that had a man playing an accordion. Not the experience we were hoping for.
