I didn't rush into this review as I wanted to properly reflect on the experience. I've done a handful of similar walking tours across different European cities, and this one was comfortably the worst. That's not to say it was bad, it just wasn't as good as those others. It all started when neither of the tour guides (there were two tours running at the same time) had my name on their list. After confirming I had indeed booked I was allocated to one of the two tour groups. Had I been given the choice I would have picked the other group purely because the guide seemed bubblier and much more engaging than the guide leading my group. We were taken through the streets of Venice, stopping occasionally. There was never really much time to take photos without running the risk of losing the rest of the group. We also missed out on visiting places listed, such as the Marco Polo house, nor did we even enter the church which doubled as the starting point of the tour. The guide herself was friendly, very chatty, and tried her best, I just wasn't feeling it in the same way I have elsewhere.

Flavia was excellent! Very nice and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend this tour to families with children over 12 years old.
