Supposedly, the airport is being upgraded for 2026 Winter Olympics. It's really a disaster. Here are some of the problems: Hallway tiles are already cracked and showing the cement base, very few phone charging stations, tiny departure waiting area by the gates, insufficient seating by the gates causing at least 50% of passangers to stand, delays in permitting passengers to WALK to the plane for boarding and left out in the cold waiting for the go-ahead. It's literally a disgrace.

What a fantastic hotel as an airport hotel! Swimming pool and other Wellness facilities including jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The evening meal was just lovely with a menu that you would not generally expect at an airport hotel.
It was as goid as eating in one of the restaurants in Verona's historic centre. A great night's sleep in an enormous bed. The room had aircon, much-needed this time of the year! The room also had tea/coffee facilities and a mini-bar. The bathroom had lots of little extras like a vanity kit for example. All these little touches made our stay so pleasant. My husband was very happy as he was able to watch England v Slovakia on the huge TV in the room!! Breakfast was equally as amazing with such a choice of food to suit everyone. Finally, I must mention the staff. What a great team they are! Professional yet friendly. They can't do enough to make your stay a pleasant one!
