The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail in North East Victoria is a wonderful paved off-road cycling path that is a joy to ride. Cycle past wineries, produce farms and historic towns with stunning Alpine views. Join our fully guided weekend tour, cycling in a small group, making new friends and enjoying the company of others whilst you enjoy the clean country air. The cycling is graded as easy/medium, suitable for occasional and non-riders. Starts in Beechworth and ends in beautiful Bright with transfer back to Beechworth.

We had an amazing couple of days away for our wedding anniversary on this self-guided tour. The ride was enjoyable, while we had to push ourselves a little it was not difficult riding with only one uphill section on day 1. Generally downhill the first day and second day was flat. Paths were all paved and very nice to ride on. Finished riding around 2-3pm both days so plenty of relaxation time off the bike. The food was amazing, we ate far too much but thoroughly enjoyed it. Hardest part was getting back on the bike and riding with a full stomach. Such an easy holiday with everything arranged and comforting knowing help wasn’t far away if needed which we didn’t. We were lucky to have cool weather for this time of year making it more enjoyable.

Great experience in beautiful countryside - we were also lucky with perfect weather. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and all went flawlessly. We took the luxury accommodation package, and would recommend all three places - each very different. Will be doing more Tour de Vines now we know what it is all about. Around 30klms a day on easy and well maintained trails can be managed by most people - you do not need to be super fit (we are both 74 years old). My wife had an ebike, and I managed comfortably on a normal hybrid machine. Overall, a great idea!

This was a great experience cycling on easy cycle paths in the beautiful countryside. The support from Annette and Bernard was fantastic. They were always available to answer queries and were very helpful. Loved having our purchases picked up and delivered to us. Accommodations varied in style (which was fun) but were all very good with helpful hosts. On the day we cycled to Myrtleford, Gapstead winery was closed so lunch was arranged at Billy Buttons in Myrtleford. Absolutely super-friendly and helpful host there - loved it. As someone who does not cycle frequently I found the distance to Myrtleford by 1pm too challenging but phoned Billy Buttons and was not a problem. Strongly recommended
