Living Legends has been established to bring retired champion racehorses back to the public.Based at Woodlands Homestead in Woodlands Historic Park, Living Legends is only 6 minutes north of Melbourne Airport and about 20 km north-west of the Melbourne city centre. Come and visit the racehorse Living Legends, the Woodlands Homestead, magnificent heritage gardens, plus wild kangaroos and natural bushland.

Well what can I say. It was a dream come true to visit this beautiful property. It was a bucket list experience. We did the Grand Day Out package and it was well worth it. On arrival we had the most amazing freshly baked scones with Devonshire tea and then went on a personal tour with Taylor as our guide. To see these amazing horses living life was truly magical. Taylor was amazing and truly loves what she does and after the tour we had a beautifully presented grazing platter and lunch. Everyone there was so welcoming and friendly. Even the CEO himself came and introduced himself to us. It’s a must thing if you are a horsey person like me.

What a great day, highly recommend . Devonshire tea and light snacks in a lovely historic building. Seeing and feeding the horses. Loved it.

Excellent tour. It was great getting up close and personal to some champion racehorses. The tour guide was informative and took time for patrons to enjoy the experience.
