The Conservation Ecology Centre is a driving force in creating a safe and vibrant future for wildlife on the Great Ocean Road. During your guided walk, you will encounter unique wildlife living freely in a stunning bushland environment overlooking the ocean. Your visit includes a 75-minute walk with a conservationist guide along a 1.4km all-abilities path. Your guide will lead you through environments including grassland, forests, bushland and tree fern gullies, spotting unique wildlife along the way. You will learn about the ecology of the spectacular Otways and the research protecting the Great Ocean Road’s threatened species. During your tour, you will pause at the Conservation Ecology Centre Research Hub to learn about the conservation projects that Wildlife Wonders is supporting. Beautiful area, and great way to see the wildlife of the Otway/Great Ocean Road region. We saw koala's, a bandicoot (in the middle of the day!), emu's, kangaroo's, paddy melon's, wallabies and beautiful birdlife. The walk moves through rainforest, grasses and has beautiful views overlooking the cliffs and ocean.

Fabulous! A little ark for the wild things that fight for survival under so much pressure. Sensitivity, passion and sheer hard work apparent at every step. Love the concept of treasure hunting for the creatures within as they live a natural life. Dedication in action. Bravo!

We had a lovely couple of hours with our guys who taught us lots about the animals, plants and ecosystems. We were fortunate enough to see several koalas high up in the trees eating and a wallaby. The facilities were really good and we were able to book on the day with helpful customer service staff online. A fantastic stop on the great ocean road.
