Vancouver Island offers some amazing trails along its beautiful coast and through its old grown lush rainforests. This private guided hike is just a short 30 minute drive from downtown Victoria. There are multiple locations close to the city that will make you feel like your miles away deep in the wilderness. You will experience some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world, waterfalls, as well as a vibrant surrounding Eco-system.

    We offer different locations, and these locations all offer something different. We offer basic Rain Forest hikes for that are fit for all levels going through a beautiful old growth forest with up down terrain that will require proper hiking shoes, but overall simple paths. If you would prefer a hike through the forest and up a mountain to enjoy panoramic views we can arrange that as well at various locations. We will talk about local plants, trees, and wildlife. Hopefully get to see some along the way.

  • Proper hiking shoes required, no open-toe shoes allowed
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Alan was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable. We explored 2 different areas, both were wonderful. The hike itself wasn’t difficult. We saw woodpeckers and other wildlife. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see more than what’s in the city.

We had an absolutely incredible hiking experience in Victoria, Canada! From start to finish, our guide made this adventure unforgettable. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the area, but he was also eager to ensure we had the best experience possible. Throughout the hike, he pointed out stunning viewpoints, unique natural features, and hidden gems that we would have never noticed on our own. His passion for the outdoors was contagious, making the journey both educational and exciting. One of the best parts? He took tons of great pictures of our group, capturing all the memorable moments so we could truly enjoy the experience without worrying about snapping photos ourselves. If you’re looking for a breathtaking hike with a fantastic guide who goes above and beyond, this is the one to book! Highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. My husband and I had such a great time on our Rainforest Hiking tour in Victoria! Alan was so kind and hospitable. He was very helpful and communicative even before we docked in Victoria. We arrived on a Disney cruise on Thursday morning and he greeted us at the port with our name on a sign. He took us on two different hikes and also showed us around the castle at Royal Roads University. We had a wonderful experience and recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria!
