The church is part of Helsinki's Empire era centre and a landmark for those arriving by sea. It has become the symbol of the whole of Helsinki. Pascal was a great tour guide. He was engaging with kids. Had tremendous knowledge of Finland history and world history. The driver Igor was a little grumpy.

My wife's and my first cruise into Helsinki. I thought a private tour with personal guide would be a nice, stress-free way for us to be introduced to the city. I booked this tour 3 months before arrival knowing that a 10AM start would allow us ample time for this 4-5 hour tour within the time we were to be in port.
The day before our ship arriving to Helsinki, I receive an email from Sophia at Scandinavian Experts asking if we could move the start of the tour up to 8AM as our ship was due to arrive at 7 AM. I agreed to the change.
The morning of our excursion, we set the alarm to wake at 5:30 AM so we had ample time to shower, dress and have breakfast before meeting our guide. During that morning process, I opened another email from Sophia asking us to change the start of the tour to 10:30-11:00 AM. So much for being stress free. Since we had to be back onboard by 3:30PM, I realized that either we would not be getting a 5-hour tour or we could be rushed through the tour to see all the sights. I responded to Sophia that they either needed to start the tour at 10 AM or refund the tour for non-performance. They opted to cancel the tour and refunded our fee.
We found transportation to Helsinki on our own and explored the city.
Why these "experts" could have not worked out the tour as they agreed to do three months before is beyond me. I have booked numerous tours/excursions through Tripadvisor/Viator in the past and never had an experience like this.
