Visit Chichén Itzá and discover a real Cenote and Valladolid. Transport included

great experience, very knowledgeable guid however we can never did not go to the suytun cenote like expected!!!

We were picked up by a local tour company bus at 7:10am, then we stopped 5-6 times near other hotels for other tourists, then we were taken to a shopping center where we waited for an hour and 20 minutes for other buses to arrive and finally we were put on a bigger bus to drive to…another shopping center where we were left for an hour to buy souvenirs and jewelry, after that we were taken to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch which was totally tasteless. We purchased a deluxe package that included lunch, drinks, cenote and Chichen Itza, but we did not get to swim or at least see the cenote. They cancelled it without informing us ahead of time. So everybody was wearing swimsuits and carrying towels when they picked us up from our hotels. When I complained, they told me someone would call me from the office, but nobody did. They gave us the wrong bracelets, so we could not get our drinks during lunch. I asked why and they told me that drinks were not included. We arrived and took a tour of Chichen Itza and then we were on our own for about 3 hours. We got to our hotel late, tired and disappointed. I have visited Chichen Itza before, but it was the first time for my husband. Unfortunately, I could not deliver my promise to him to swim in cenote and have a great tour because of the local tour company’s incompetence. The only positive experience was Tomas’s knowledge of history of Chichen Itza. We would like to get a refund for the services that were not provided to us though they were included in deluxe package when we booked this tour on TripAdvisor.

Väldigt lång och tröttsamt resa. Guiden på bussen var väl pratsam, pratade både på spanska och översatte på engelska tyckte det blev svårt att förstå ibland vad han pratade om. Han rekommenderade att vi skulle köpa souvenirer på en by som vi stannade vid. Han sa att där är det äkta varor och på chichen itza kan det förekomma falska . Kan stämma men priserna var det trippla. På bussen fick vi smaka på nån dryck som smakade som hostmedicin som de försökte sälja på dig sen med din bild på. Maten var ingen höjdare och på chichen itza hade vi endast 1 timme på oss att gå runt, på cenote var det 30min så man hade ej tid att bada, och på den gamla byn fick vi 25min på oss. Det var inte så kul att bli stressad önska att man fick mer tid. Sen tiggade den här guiden hela tiden om dricks på vägen hem, pågrund av att dem ger oss service, inte för att vi betalat redan 1600kr för den guidetur så ville dem mjölka dig på varenda slant. Fick dem inte dricks då sa han inte ens hejdå till en när dem släppte av dig på hotellet. Tyvärr hade man inte med sig tillräckligt kontanter vi köpte en del souvenirer på byn och chichen itza.
