Upon arrival parking was abundant, the hours of operation was exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable, kind, and very wonderful with any questions that you have not only was it a very clean museum, but it was fully stocked. It would be something that anyone coming to Galveston should see it is things that you will never get a chance to see anywhere else.

Just love the various types of Texas history artifacts on display. The art work and Biographies on the artists is great.
Can't wait to make a Thursday night event.

I've been to Galveston many times over the last 30 years. This was a new experience. The Bryan Museum houses a unique collection of artifacts and opened in the old Galveston orphan home in 2013. It has mainly items from early days in Texas and the southwest. You can see it's history and that of the man who collected the items by doing a search on the web.
It's a great way to spend an afternoon in Galveston when you need a break from seaside and nautical stuff.
There's something of interest for the whole family.
