This is a tour to the Princely Court of Târgoviște, the place where Vlad the Impaler reigned, the former capital of Wallachia. You will visit the court, which was once the residence of the rulers and learn about its history. You will also have the opportunity to visit the place where Ceauşescu and his wife were executed, and learn about the events that led to their downfall. The tour will provide a unique insight into the history of Romania, and the legacy of communism and Ceauşescu's rule. This city of Targoviste was the Capital of Wallachia (Romanian country) for 300 years.

The tour guide Sébastien was Awesome. He made the history easy to understand and definitely not boring. We enjoyed the day and learned a great deal about Romanian history.

Learning some history and seeing the small towns of Romania. Romania is a very beautiful country. My guide (Serban) was very friendly and helpful. He made an extra stop for me that wasn't on our itinerary. It was a great tour.
