With Waccamaw River Tours, you explore by boat the beautiful cypress-lined Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal Waterway. Come with us and explore the back creeks and swamps in search of birds and other wildlife that inhabit these southern waters within the untouched National Wildlife Refuge. The majesty of the moss-lined river is breathtaking and the peacefulness of this natural area is appealing to all. Large osprey nests can be seen along the river and at certain times of the year we are lucky enough to see the babies take their first flights.     ARRIVE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR TIME. IF YOU ARRIVE ONE MINUTE PAST TOUR TIME YOU WILL MISS THE BOAT. PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Turn off Enterprise Rd. follow signs for Waccamaw River Tours to the back of the property, check-in at the gift shop and then sit down by the river or play the swing ring game until tour time.

This was a very peaceful and relaxing tour down the river. The tour operators were super friendly and informative. We learned all about the history of the native people in the area, as well as the wildlife that lives there. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Had an awesome time! The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful - to include Bella the dog who loved on us throughout the tour. The boat was spacious and clean and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable in local area animals, vegetation and history - you get all of it on this tour. This is a great event for your itinerary of you are looking for a relaxing boat tour.

This was our third time booking this river cruise. It is always an unbelievable experience, and so informative. The gators weren’t very cooperative, but the baby ospreys made up for it!!! A definite must do in the Myrtle beach area. 10/10 will def visit again!!!
