With Waccamaw River Tours, you explore by boat the beautiful cypress-lined Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal Waterway. Come with us and explore the back creeks and swamps in search of birds and other wildlife that inhabit these southern waters within the untouched National Wildlife Refuge. The majesty of the moss-lined river is breathtaking and the peacefulness of this natural area is appealing to all. Large osprey nests can be seen along the river and at certain times of the year we are lucky enough to see the babies take their first flights.     ARRIVE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR TIME. IF YOU ARRIVE ONE MINUTE PAST TOUR TIME YOU WILL MISS THE BOAT. PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Turn off Enterprise Rd. follow signs for Waccamaw River Tours to the back of the property, check-in at the gift shop and then sit down by the river or play the swing ring game until tour time.

Me and my hubby did this tour while in MB for his birthday. We really enjoyed it from the wildlife we saw to the education and history. Agnes was our tour guide and especially appreciated her highlighting the history and contributions the Gullah culture and Sweetgrass. I just so happen to be wearing my Sweetgrass bracelet at the time. Highly recommend this tour!
