Across two and a half hours, we will discover the heart and soul of Doctor Who in the Welsh capital, and traverse 13 series of the show, while discussing filming locations, important scenes and characters, as well as crucial buildings and streets. I booked the tour as a present for my fiancé who loves Doctor Who - I am a bit more of a casual fan but Eugene balanced the tour perfectly between us! I never felt left out and my fiancé loved the chance to really flex his knowledge and find out more about the locations. We started in the Civic Quarter and worked our way down to the Bay. Even though we have lived in Cardiff for almost a year there was so much we didn’t know about or recognise from the show. It was especially interesting seeing what was reused! I also really appreciated that he gave us a chance to stop and grab water/drinks along the way as it was quite warm that day. Eugene was professional, friendly and definitely knows his stuff. I would 100% recommend the tour to anyone!

From start to finish, our tour with Eugene was great! Eugene made our trip fit in so well with our weekend in Cardiff, especially with me arranging it last minute! After a few emails of arranging what date and time was available, Eugene agreed that we start on the North side of the city in the memorial gardens and work our way back down through the city, eventually ending at Cardiff Bay where our hotel was. I've got to say that the route and timings of the tour had us in mind and it felt like we were all looked after. As big fans of Doctor Who and Torchwood, we were all excited to see many of the places we had been watching and the tour did not disappoint! We saw so many locations I definitely had lost count by the end and Eugene's knowledge of the show and enthusiasm to the tour made us feel very welcome. If you're visiting Cardiff whether it be for the history or like us with the Doctor Who tour I would definitely recommend getting in touch with Eugene.
