Great service from the very friendly guide who spoke very good English (which put my very poor attempts to speak Polish to shame) and also from the company providing the visit to the shooting range itself. Only had very limited experience of firing a gun before, the instructor was clear and helpful and gave you confidence that you could manage to handle and fire even a weapon as powerful as a Magnum 357 (Anyone not familiar just watch any of the Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry films!). I wouldn't want to have been on the instructors wrong side if he was training me to shoot in the army, but he retained his sense of humour for this not very able marksman civvie. I wouldn't ever especially want to fire a gun in anger but I'm glad that I have done so using this experience at the shooting range. It gives you a sense of respect of just how powerful and deadly guns really are (Any wanna be gangsters please take note. They don't sound or feel as you might imagine from watching movies!). It may sound a strange thing for some to read but this was a really good experience and very good value for money. Again I would praise my guide who also gave me some great tips on what else to do and see during my stay in Warsaw and also the company itself who were friendly, efficient & helpful when I needed to contact them with a query. My only word of caution about the visit is that the hot August weather while fantastic, did mean that it got quite hot in the shooting range itself. I was very sweaty by the time I left so if heat isn't your thing, maybe make the visit in a cooler month. And oh, just one more thing, make sure you put some Zlotys in the collection tin on the counter in the waiting/cold drinks room. It's for an animal charity and is for a very good cause so make a donation! The owners of the range are all ex Polish Army officers so they are also helping a dog charity as well. Good on them.
