A private tour to The German Nazi Penal Labour and Extermination Camp in Treblinka, where during II World War more than 800 000 Polish Jews were murdered. During this 6 hour tour you will visit the site of the former camps and hear the story of survivors. Treblinka, more specific Treblinka II, is the second biggest death camp, after Birkenau, where German and Austrian Nazis murdered more than 800 000 Polish Jews with dozens of thousands more Poles in forced labour camp nearby. Treblinka is different than any other similar places. You won't see here barracks nor crematories. Jews from Warsaw Ghetto were brought there in unhuman condition by trains and were herded from railway ramp straight to gas chambers. 40 minutes later victims’ bodies were buried in giant mass graves. A thick forest surrounding the area creates almost mystical atmosphere. The beauty of the nature along with an awareness of a big tragedy that happened here to so many innocent people evokes deep emotions.

We had a very good trip to Treblinka. It was emotional to see and to hear about the horrors of the Holocaust. Our guide Marcin was very friendly and informative during the whole trip.

Martin was an excellent guide for an emotionally distressing day. My grandfather’s entire family was murdered at Treblinka and I am so thankful I was able to honor their memory by going to their last resting place. Martin was very informative, not only about Treblinka but also Warsaw and Poland in general. Most importantly, he was very empathetic and sensitive to how heavy a tour this would be for me and was respectful of my feelings. Once we arrived at the heart of the memorial, Martin gave us space to commemorate the dead. Also, Martin was aware of my dietary restrictions and found us a restaurant afterwards where I could eat. Overall, would highly recommend Martin! In my opinion, this place is unique from more visited sites like Auschwitz as it is not there to inform you (though the museum next to the site and Martin both do a very thorough job of that), but to truly feel the horror of the death camp and grief the loss of so many innocents.

Martin was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. It happened by chance I was the only one on the tour. At the site, he gave me as much time as I needed at each stop and left me alone to explore. On the way back to Warsaw, we went for lunch to a small restaurant I would never have found on my own. I would highly recommend this tour.
