This tour is a chance to discover an emerging tourist destination before it gets crowded and expensive. The guide will make you discover very different faces of the same city, where the industrial heritage is no longer a burden, but a part of Łódź's identity. It's a perfect one-day tour from Warsaw during which you will experience a city full of contrasts and undergoing a major change. You will visit a beautifully restored factory complex, a 19th century residential district for factory workers, Jewish heritage, Polish fashion designers' boutiques and the longest commercial street in Poland. Before going back to Warsaw you will have enough free time to stroll in the nicest street of Łódź, Piotrkowska, and discover its artistic installations, street art and beautiful facades.

Anna showed us straight to the station and platform where we caught the train to Łódź! Joanna met us in Łódź she was very professional and very sweet, she had done research to help find family heritage churches and stores! I cannot recommend them both highly enough they were real experts!

Lodz is not an obvious city. An industrial past and perhaps still finding its future. But yet it is probably one of the most thought provoking cities I've ever been to. My guide was superb, Incredibly knowledgeable and easy company and also really brought the history to life. The story of Lodz is a haphazard series of events that it would be easy to loose the thread of but things were so well explained and organised,, that this never happened. Piotrkowska has a unique grandess and quaintness at once. Lodz may be a rough diamond but it is real hidden gem that was brought to life. Great tour and brilliantly delivered. With thanks for a great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyable day trip and our guide, Anna was simply amazing and fun! We also had advantage of local guide, Joanna who lived and loved her city with excellent history which was shared with us. Łódź is definitely a short day trip city visit which I would recommend to others who enjoy learning more about culture and history of Poland. The Herbst Palace visit, Jewish cemetery, Piotrkowska Avenue free time and Radegast train station visit were important to experience and really appreciated the wonderful guides as Anna was perfect, we could not have enjoyed as much without her sharing of information of Łódź and history facts of the area.
